Introduction

Thrive Alternative Provision provides personalised education for children and young people who are struggling to access mainstream education.

Our approach combines education, relationships, personal development and practical learning. We recognise that learners may arrive at Thrive with very different experiences of education, and our role is to understand what has prevented them from engaging and create the conditions in which they can succeed.

We work from individual needs, EHCP outcomes where applicable, strengths and aspirations to create a clear and purposeful education pathway.

Our purpose

Our purpose is to help young people re-engage with education, develop confidence and independence, achieve meaningful outcomes and move successfully towards their next stage.

For some learners, the next step may be a return to mainstream education. For others, it may be specialist provision, college, vocational training, employment or a different pathway. We work with the learner, family and professionals to identify and prepare for the right destination.
